Amidoamines

Amidoamines is a result of the reaction of most common amine i.e. tetraethylenepentamine with fatty acid such as Tall Oil Fatty acid. Amidoamines are basically mono-adducts of polyamine with TOFA and having higher molecular weight than polyamine and therefore longer reaction rate but Polyamide are bi-adducts with even bigger molecular weight and thus, reflect higher viscosity and also longer pot life. Amidoamines are curing agents for ambient temperature applications. Amidoamines form a low viscosity and exhibit good adhesion especially concrete, corrosion resistance, lower odor and are able to cure under humid conditions.
